People’s Credit Union volunteers teamed up with the Newport Salvation Army on Saturday, November 18th for a community Thanksgiving feast to start off the Holiday season. Everyone gathered to enjoy a festive celebration of a traditional turkey dinner.
“Thanksgiving has come to signify the start of the Holiday season and People’s Credit Union was more than happy to be part of the Salvation Army’s kick-off celebration,” stated Heather Sweeney, Head of Newport Market Development for People’s Credit Union. “The Credit Union volunteer team jumped at the opportunity to help out and will continue to do so during the Holidays to make them joyous and merry for all,” Sweeney added.
