People’s Credit Union in the Community
People's Credit Union is dedicated to supporting and serving the local community and our Community Enhancement Committee is the embodiment of that dedication. The Committee consists entirely of employees who volunteer their time outside of work to organize events that have a positive impact on the communities that we serve.
Below are some recent instances of People’s Credit Union and our Community Enhancement Committee is making a difference in and around our state:
Robert Potter League for Animals Heart and Sole Walk

People's Credit Union was again well represented at the 18th Annual Potter League’s Heart & Sole Walk in Portsmouth. Twenty employees, children, family members and friends gathered with furry mascots in tow to make the day a phenomenal success. People's Credit Union ended up raising $2,019 for the cause, an improvement of over $850 from last year.
Colt Andrews School
People's Credit Union, working with the Downtown Bristol Merchants Association, was able to fill an entire van with sturdy cardboard boxes to aid in the moving of Reynolds and Byfield Elementary Schools to the newly renovated Colt Andrews School, located across from our Bristol branch. Shown in the photo are People's employees Ed Reynolds (far left) and Paul Coyne (far right) and volunteer Bob Lima (middle).
